Remember that Slimserver can successfully write my playlist files into

I only rate songs when I play them, so I was thinking that all never played
tracks wouldn't have ratings. However, I can see that I have actually rated

I was typing up my response and it occurred to me what you mean. The
receiver sees the command from the IR blaster, but the SB3 remote is
creating enough "noise" that it doesn't repeat correctly.
Makes perfect sense now.

It clearly won't.

This what I get when I try the mplayer command you posted. [Although I

Hi 4mula1
What you are seeing is that your receiver gets confused by the two
overlapping IR commands - the original one from the remote and the IR
command IRBlaster is sending out.
For a single (non repeating) command like power this most of the time
isn't an issue since the original command fro
You have to put the plugin in Server/Plugin (Plugins?) *not* the

Then all of the settings pages should appear.

I've been using the IRBlaster plugin for awhile and have always had the

This is correct. I guess that I should really write a guide as to what's

Meanwhile, if you want to skip, just use the skip/ffwd command as if you
were playing local music.
I hope that will make a lot of people happy!

James,
I'm using the new version w/ SS7 via softsqueeze and noticed the skip
command in not showing in the UI or web page (classic skin)?
Just tried setting up for recording. I'm using an SPL meter as mike, and
the SB Live card on my PC for input. I have some questions:
1. The instructions suggest connecting the right line out of the SB to
the right line input of the card, and the mike to the left mike input.

I don't think the problems with LIsten Again have been solved as yet, so
if you aren't listening live that may be the issue.

Yes indeed :-)
I am a little jaleous, my left and right measurements show a 2cm

I'm addicted to listening to BBC world through my squeezebox, but for
the past few days it hasn't been working. Have others experienced this
too? Does anybody have an idea of what might be the problem?
Thanks.

I don't really use it unless I'm testing LastFM!
It seems OK although there are some iTunes-specific issues, and the web
interface is changing significantly.
There are also very few non-core plugins available yet.

The code checks if Slimserver has Write permissions to the directory
before it even attempts to write a file so the behaviour analysis is
correct.
The problem is why Slimserver is told it can't write into the

My D: drive is local, not a mapped drive.
I turned on Windows file and directory auditing for my D:\SlimServer

use.
