Attached is a zipped version of the MyPicks - Plugin.pm file. The only change is additional debug statements testing the permission of the target directory. Replace the Plugin.pm in MyPicks, restart slimserver, enable d_plugins, open a debug log window and then try saving mypicks.opml again.

I have Slimserver 6.5.x working with AlienBBC with mplayer working on 2 NAS - 1 FSG3 (266MHz ARM 64MbRam no FPU) and Kurobox (266Mhz PPC with FPU with 128Mb RAM) - so I am pretty sure your Linkstation will work because it is very similar to a Kurobox. I think you can ignore the conf messages as t

Andy & James, this might interest both of you. I wanted to see if I could Scrobble my Pandora streams to LastFM - so I was switching between Pandora and LastFM streams. I don't seem to be able to scrobble anything from SS7 with the 0.39 plugin (its working fine with SS6.5.4 with the 0.37 plugin)

I'm not sure what is going on - it has to be sorted out as a lot of MyPicks has been included into SS 7.0 Favorites yet people don't have a problem on SS 7.0 so it may be something plugin specific or something in your configuration. I don't have Vista but I know the permission issue with startup

The code checks if Slimserver has Write permissions to the directory before it even attempts to write a file so the behaviour analysis is correct. The problem is why Slimserver is told it can't write into the directory. I'll have to see if there is any mod can be made to the code to get more i
