Does anyone know of a slimserver plugin to capture streams (e.g. from
Sirius or XM) to mp3 files? It seems like something that a lot of
people would want. Maybe it already exists, but I just missed it. I
know there are PC programs that can be used to capture streaming audio.
Thanks.

Sorry, Greg. I just noticed that instead of installing your updated
version, I re-installed 0.8.3. When I installed version 0.8.5, it

Your at ~2ghz so CPU should be fine as long is there are no other
processes contending for it during Inguz filtering. Just get a "top"
going while playing some stuff.

Hi Folks,
thanks for sticking with WeatherTime. I took me a while to integrate

Bjorn,
Thanks for your patience. Yes I'm often wrong! :-)
/var/cache/slimserver and /var/log/slimserver are owned by slimserver.
And I can see the slimserver entry in /etc/passwd. I was using the

I suspect the problem comes from our Alien build script. This was

Hello,
I've just installed the current InguzDSP on my slimserver 6.5.4 playing
on a SB3.
It is working almost fine - maybe my CPU is too slow:
Normally when playing a song I see the server CPU at 100% while
squeezebox buffer is being filled. After that CPU is at about 30% -
everything seems fine.

Bjorn,
Many thanks! Got it working now.
'sudo chown -R slimserver /usr/share/slimserver/Plugins/Alien'

So I did a 'sudo chown slimserver /usr/share/slimserver/Bin/mplater.sh'
and voila, I have BBC radio!

Sorry - finger trouble - most users of mplayer are using "RTSP" but as

I think the message "Output buffer underrun (decoder: 0 / output: 0)"
