Thanks danco, Solution 1 allowed me to rename mplayer_intel to mplayer.
However it seems that this version of mplayer (MPlayer OS X 1.0rc1 from
www.mplayerhq.hu) does not work for me. Although I can select bbc

No - there is no AlienBBC playlist path - there is only a Squeezecenter
playlist path.

From server settings-File types change the Windows Media to Windows
