Well, I added those lines to the file location noted by the new .conf
file, but no change. I'm getting a "cannot connect to" and long URL
name. All is fine on the Squeezeboxes, however.

hi everyone!
i am using two OLD amp-switches by felix mueller - those with the PNP
transistor. and i LOVE them. they work like a charm! :-)
the new amp switch II uses an NPN transistor and should have inverse
switching properties. (?)
i am sure felix has a good reason for changing the implement
Are you still out there Joe Bob? You did a good job on working the
kinks out of the existing XM plugin. It would be great if you could
tame the beast under SC7.

I'm having a problem with the IR Blaster Plugin frequently locking up.
I have a Squeezebox that is using the IR Repeater function to control
an integrated amplifier and a DVD player which are hidden in a cabinet.
I have a wall mounted Sony LCD TV (model KDL-40V3000).
When I start slimserver and
Squeezecenter-remote is a script that allows you to play tracks on your
Squeezebox from the command-line, by double-clicking on them in the
file browser, clicking on them in a web browser, etc. It works even if
SqueezeCenter isn't running on the same machine as your desktop.
It installs itself a

Yes, I should think so.. I'll pop it on the list.. I also want to add
windows sidebar support, which is similar I guess..

Just so you realize it. Custom Browse is just a plugin in SlimServer so
you will still need SlimServer, but you can replace almost all standard
You need the transcoding support on the server as WMA transcoding is not
included in the Linux distribution. wmadec is included in the Windows
installation.
You will need to modify/add to the slimserver-convert.conf file (or
custom-convert.conf) - put the file in the same directory as
convert.con
I checked out that link but it appears out of date since things were
reorganized...cant find any of the files in the locations noted.

SqueezeCenter is on Linux, and the Clients are PCs. Do you mean that I
need transcoding on the client PCs or the server? I think I already
have all that on the server...

This is very cool Peter, excellent work :)
I don't have any use for it, but the Jive system being extended in this
way increases its value tremendously.

Hey E. You are doing some great work.
I am interested in custom browse, because I am not too satisfied with
SS as a manager (wish I could just use J. River).
Anyway, will your plug-in work on a NAS? I have a Thecus 5200
pro.
Is it possible to organize by album/artist with your plug-in? I did n
I've tried everything, including going back to a previous version of
slimserver. Still the same result.
can ANYONE give me an idea how to debug this to see why this is
happening?
Thanks.

Why is it that search engines can completely fail to find the
information you want - until someone else points out where it is!
Oh well.
Thanks

I keep reading about Jive - but is there actually any hardware

Although the AleinBBC icon used to sipaly just fine in SC7 it doesn't
now. I've just totally reinstalled AlienBBC aned deleted my SC7 cache
and rescanned and still AlienBBC is using the default SC7 radio image.
The Last.fm plugin is displaying it's own icon with no problems
though.
