Hi Rantech
I am not sure myself as I am running SC/SS under Linux. Try searching

Cool, thank you very much. I am glad to hear it worked. :)

Well, it took me awhile to figure out how to get the logging up and

I'll take a look at making the changes to code myself when I get some
time. This can't be a major rework considering the plugin works with
the current release.

I'm a late evening - night time radio listener, so it's very handy for
the SB on my bedside table. :)
When you are playing a BBC station player-stdout and flac will be

Sorry hadn't noticed the option. It's really good please maintain, I
hope that makes you feel better!
I've just put in the lyrics plugin, fantastic. It needs a good logo
otherwise the best thing since alienbbc.

Correct the DS207 is 266Mhz but in my case I am running on the DS207+
which runs at 500Mhz. This still may not be sufficient but flipflip has
got Alien to work on less powerful synology boxes so it should be
feasible.
I had a look at the uptime of the box and it was a little high at 1.38

I should add that lastfm is also appearing fine on the Jive remote, just
not on the WebUI. Same deal with PublicRadioFan. Since it happened the
same way with AlienBBC (i.e. on SB, Jive but not WebUI) in beta4 and
was fixed in beta5, I'm sure it's the same problem, but I don't know

I'll fix up the tweaks (probably typos) and look into the "yesterday"

The DS-207 has a 266MHZ processor and I think there may not be enough
processing power to decode the RealAudio stream and re-encode it into
Flac in realtime.
Look the CPU load when trying to play the stream and see how loaded the
processor is when doing RTSP->Flac and compare against RTSP->WAV.
I love the plugin, it's great. Thanks for your efforts. m.

I don't see much hope of finding time to learn perl, so I guess it's

Hi - one for Michael I think.
Possibly a silly error on my part but I've just installed the Date And
Spelled Time plugin (v1.5, downloaded today) with SC7 (SqueezeCenter
Version: 7.0 - 16329 - Debian - EN - utf8 on Ubuntu Gutsy).
It seems to work as a screensaver but if I go to the Settings -
I've upgraded FreeNAS a few times (using the WebGUI) since installing
SlimServer and SqueezeCenter has continued to work fine.

I was wondering whether there is a reason why the MusicIP icon does not
appear next to a mixable song when in the "Now Playing" playlist on a
SqueezeBox?

Ah, so the web interface displays the error when Softsqueeze is closed?
That's not that unexpected, a 'real' Squeezebox probably doesn't behave
the same way (unless you unplug it)
I will see if there's anything I can do to improve this anyway...

James,
I've just got up & running with the latest SC7 nightly (SqueezeCenter
Version: 7.0 - 16329 - Debian - EN - utf8) and I've noticed that
Last.FM is not in the radio menu in the WebUI, although it is in the SB
menu. I assume that it's the same problem as discussed here in relation
to alienbbc
I suspect it is the new code then, I will try and recreate this.
You say that LastFM was playing OK from SoftSqueeze (started from the
player?),
then the web interface reported the 'configure login' error - for the
same player?
Did anything happen in the meantime, e.g. restarting SoftSqueeze?
Thanks James for replying.

If you update the system and don't do a full re-install, it should work right
away. But then I'm not 100% sure about this.
Known issue - stations are taken from a GWR web page (still live) but it
looks like GCAP have stopped updating it. We have been discussing
whether to drop this item since it is out of date.
