What would it need to be available? If your items offered a url property,
then it should work.
That would be excellent, especially if the url property monikers worked for
setting alarms (or ability to select a favorite for an alarm, instead of a
playlist).

I don't think so, with mc2slim you use mc12 to control a squeezebox.
With the remote you use slimserver itself. If you keep your file tags
up to date (update tags form library in mc) you only have to point
slimserver to your music folder. No need for itunes. Works seamless
I think it should be possible to run musicip linux on a ReadyNas and
integrate it with slimserver already running on that box.
Has anyone tryed this?

I am in the same boat really, SSODS 3.0 beta 4 and SqueezeCenter

I don't know if the problem is the squeezebox? Because even when the

It would certainly help idiots like me! LOL.

No spin down here as well. I even followed the installation process in
detail which Eiber described in the German forum. Without success.
Recently I upgraded to FW 524, SSODS 3beta4 and SC 7.0-16692. This
introduced some new issues. Here is my current list in total:
1. No disk spin down.
It would be excellent if this was possible as I've been looking to do
this for a while and thought it was not possible although I was holding
out hope for SC7.
I currently have a button on my remote mapped to one of the dynamic
playlists using
Code:

I had pretty much given up on Last.FM on SlimServer 6.5.4 It just
didn't work at all anymore. If you wanted to listen to, say, similar
artists to Miles Davis you'd eventually get artists like Metallica.
If you wanted to listen to similar artists to Frank Sinatra you'd
eventually get Metallica.

AFAIK MusicIP is only available for x86 CPUs - which isn't used in the
ReadyNAS.

There's been some discussion here implying that you can add pretty much
any URL to the favorites list.
How does one do that? The only way I know to add something to the
favorites list is by pushing and holding the favorite button on the
remote while viewing an item. I don't see any interface

As long as it's a valid url and there's a handler to it, this should be true.
The plugin we're talking about here doesn't support it (yet).
I don't see any interface in the web
interface
Maybe when it's out of beta :)
