Thanks, this is a cool program, I just wish it were a little faster
loading, and a little more intuitive.

Yes.
If you click on the little "+" on the BOTTOM browser control bar, you
get to a menu that allows you to put a bookmark for the current page on
the desktop. Apple calls that a "webclip".

I've had a couple people email me saying they are having the same issue,
so at least I know it's reproducible.
Any chance someone has some ideas on how to fix this? Even a list of
all the files to delete to ensure a fresh install would be helpful.
Most graciously appreciated!!

Is it possible to create an iPeng icon on the Ipod Touch so it can be

I run v2.2 of the plugin and the officially released 7.1 of SQ.
The problem is that the hold+play or hold+add functions do not work
when I browse through the custom menus. Also when I add an album by
singly pressing the "+" symbol the information popup windows doesn't

Another update.
I guess you first need to install SlimNAS 1.0.1 and then upgrade to
SlimNAS 1.1.1. following the upgrade steps on Michael's website.
I downgraded from SlimNAS 1.1.1 to SlimNAS 1.0.1. Next I upgraded to
SlimNAS 1.1.1 and that does work. I now have SC7.1 running.

Hello all,
I had exactly the same problems as mentioned here.
Then I found out that the page from Michael refered to the folder
'latest' of slimdevices which contains the 7.0.1 CSPAN version of
squeezecenter.
Make sure you download the 7.1 version of squeezecenter. Unzip it
manually and replace

I have downloaded and tried to install weathertime (version 2.1.1 as I
have SC 7.1). I can see the plugin in program files - slimserver -

squeezecenter off and back on again can not find it on my squeezebox.

"low powered NAS" such as Linksys NLSU2, Linkstation, QNAP, Synology
DS-101 etc. - memory and limited CPU processing power means 7,0 doesn;t
run well on them and they best stay on 6.5.
The current AlienBBC works by "screen scraping" which means taking a
web page and taking elements from the page.
done an upgrade to squeezecenter 7.1 und weathertime r108 and now it is
working.
no problem anymore. should have done that before asking. sorry.

No it's not possible, which is one of the reasons that I have just
switched to a mac-mini for my music, file and print serving needs.
Netgear have said in the past on their forums (www.readynas.com) that
there is not enough cpu power in the ReadyNas to successfully transcode
an audio stream.

AFAIK Not possible because there is no port of mplayer to ReadyNAS.

Does anyone know if it is possible to load the AlienBBC onto the Netgear

other posts I can not see how to load a 3rd party plug in.
Or is it not possible?

Hi.
On my DS-107+ the Photo Station sometimes breaks up and Syno Support
have to repair it via remote access. The problem is with one specific
folder that has many subfolders and lots of pictures in it - sometimes
those files and folders become inaccessible (shows up as "broken" in
Photo Station)
A new version of the Dynamic Playlist plugin (version 2.3) is now
available, the corrected/new functionality is:
- Added support for Dynamic Playlist mixers in Controller interface.
- Added support for ContextMenu plugin.
- Corrected so it works correctly towards the latest alarm handling
changes
