Please give details of your system
- what system is running SC
- What OS ?
- hwat version of SC ?
- what version of AlienBBC ?
- What sort of player ?
The error could be one that has affected some NAS installations or
systems with a minimal Linux. It is also similar to a problem which

Do you really need Custom Scan for this ?
Isn't the standard SqueezeCenter scanner automatically retrieving the
BPM tags and store them in the bpm column in the tracks table ?

This is a great plugin.
A few things:
Is there anyway to stream wav instead of flac? My SC machine is pretty
lean and hope this would reduce cpu cycles.
Playback of the now playing list stops after each track when using
squeezeslave. Need to skip tohear the next track.

I created an OPML file on Wiki Radio for stations owned by Global Radio

Most of the items play fine, but I have trouble with a few.

It does - it says that conf files are set up asa I requested.
The input to mplayer (i.e. $FILE$) becomes "-" which may be causing a
problem but it works on my Linux system so I need to double check my
conf files but can't do this
Oops, I ran into authentication problems in the meantime with 7.2.1, so
I upgraded both SC and AlienBBC. Behavior with RA files hasn't changed
a bit and AlienBBC works fine with the BBC radio shows. I should have
mentioned it, I'm sorry.
If I may, does the error log tell us anything worthwhile?
Anybody using Telcanto software?

Gharris999, all,
Did you notice the nice progress on alarms for SB2/SB3 recently ? With
SB firmware 113 there is now a backup alarm (a buzzer sound) that
replaces the alarm sound if it is not available. The thing seems clever
enough to fire off when a file is not available (e.g. local

According to post 1 you are running 7.2.1 but the log looks like 7.3 ?
What version of SC are you running ?
What version of AlienBBC have you installed ?

Hi
I've just installed the latest iPeng on my iMac and it works

OK, I'm not sure exactly when I'll post a new version, but to fix the
bug mentioned by bebop above and make the plugin 7.3 compatible, edit
SrvePowerCtrl/Util.pm and change line 62 from:

if (Slim::Player::Source::playmode($curclient) eq 'play') {
Kudos Dr.Lovegrove! Another wonderful update.
Quick bug(?): For some reason track ratings don't show up/update as
expected for me if I'm playing a dynamic playlist from the server tree.
Also... UI suggestion: What would you think about making the Library |

ashmore,
yes, there is a very simple tweak to use the old one.
Open your squeezecenter/Plugins/InguzEQ directory, and edit this line
in install.xml:
Code:
7.0+
and change it to
7.*
SC will enable the plugin for versions
I'm surpirsed it's working at all. My big disappiointment on upgrading
to V7.3 (in preparation for the Boom) was that the software disabled
Inguz, claiming it is not compatible with this version.
Is there a new Inguz version or, more particularly, a tweak I can use
for the old one?

Thanks Erland for giving it a try, especially on linux. To be honest I
really haven't tested in on linux as none of my linux boxes are

I agree the I should adjust the album cover sizing to be proportional
to screen size.
I'll also take care of the multiple player problem and post wh
I think I'm seeing something similar - some of my track have different
playcounts in iTunes and SqueezeCenter.
Wiping the library and re-importing doesn't fix the incorrect
playcounts.

I had to reinstall squeezecenter due to problems with my hard disks and
I've also reinstalled TrackStat, CustomBrowse and MusicInfoSCR.
However, although I've restored my old Trackstat backup xml file, it
does not show ratings, not in softsqueeze, Duet or web interface. The
ratings do show up if
