Hi
As I rebooted Freenas, Squeezecenter came online for a while - but is
now down again - I didn't reach to hear any music, but saw the
squeezecenter home-web..
It scanned the directory I gave it, but didn't add any of the mp3's
into it's database... - So I didn't have any songs to play..

I recently installed Inguzeq onto my duet system running windows xp SP3

weird response where the music suddenly stops playing - well it's not
that it stops playing - I can see on the controller that the song is

Not at all. I'm strictly in this for the fame and glory. I'm a total
celebrity now that 65 people have downloaded this plugin.

I do appreciate the words of support. But in all fairness, the original
PreventStandby plugin was very good at what it did..and it's been a
regular part of SlimServer/SqueezeCenter for going on 3 years now. My
tweak is really a rather minor one. The heavy lifting was done by

The usual source of this sort of problem is a change in the system.
All the code uses "wavin" as the type so I think you are wrong about
"wavein:0". Check custom-types.conf just in case something has changed
the file.
What has changed ?
OS upgrade ?
Security upgrade ?
SC upgrade ?

The other thread has two separate problems both related to the WMA - in
one problem mplayer is running but for some reason the WMA stations is
aborting. However, the user says it plays RealAudio OK - so I'm pretty
sure it is a different issue.

Seriously, Logitech owes gharris999 some 's as this plugin
addresses HUGE, game-breaking performance issues. No longer will I
have to hear, and agree with, the fact that this system is ridiculous
because it turns off mid-song.
I had this working fine last week, but now all I get is 'bufferring' and
when the buffer is 100% it just displays wavin:0, and no sound.
Any clues?

Alright, I downloaded the script and the package again, logged in as
root and ran the script in shell.
I didn't give any errors.
But Slimnas still can not startup..
I still can't find libperl.so
However this time, there is a log-file in the maintenance-tab.. It
says:

Patrick - you have the latest released version, the test one is
described in http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=60368
Could you start a new thread with details of whether your mplayer will
play the stream directly. It does sound like an mplayer/mplayer.sh
issue.

I'm on the 7.4 betas on Ubuntu, and I've just updated Alien and iPlayer

So how do I get 2.4b2?

The problem could be that your router or you computer's firewall do not
allow UDP broadcasts on the port the SC server detection works on, but
this is indeed strange, if your SBC sees the server.
Have you tried it twice?
Have you tried to enter your server's IP address manually (under
Settings)?
I've solved the problem.
I found this line on the Ripcaster site "cd /share/HDA_DATA/Public"
which allowed me to see the directories within Putty. I would still
like to know why the change directory worked even though the ls command
returned no files though.

rksingla,
I do not have a mac for testing. I do know there are people
successfully running on a mac. Maybe someone here can lend a hand.
Thanks.

Could it be because of the new extension downloader thing in 7.3? I

You do need to be careful as to how you unzip the plugin before you
