installed with the IPKG method. This seems to be the latest version
available for IPKG. Is there any other info you need?
If you can see an AlienBBC menu but there are no RTSP filetype entries
visible (disabled or not) - then you have a plugin installation

Is iPlayer via the plugin broken for other people as well ? For the last
24 hours or so Radio 4 hasn't had Today entry and now Friday and
Saturday aren't showing in the schedule.
Edit:
Just had a quick check, it isn't just Radio 4, I have the same problem
for all stations.

You need a more up to date version of Alien BBC. That version is so old
the BBC menus will not show up in AlienBBC as the BBC web has changed.
You really need AlienBBC 2.4. Unfortunately the AlienBBC links for SC
7.1/7.2 on AlienBBC website are wrong and delivers v2.2.

I've been using WeatherTime on a WIndows PC for a couple of years now
and I have now moved to a Mac and upgraded to Ver 7.3 of squeezecentre,
(had a much older version on the PC). After lots of trial error I have
it running after a fashion. Not quite the same as on the PC

Hmm. I use OS X 10.5.6 right now, have SC 7.3.1 installed, but my SC
runs on linux normally.
I added http://weathertime.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/repo.xml to the
Extension downloader, and installed WeatherTime.
Restarted SC, configured WeatherTime with a city,

It's in directory /opt/share/squeezecenter/plugins. I'll await your
response before I install the new version.

Sounds like the right directory.
Make sure you delete all the old ALien and restart SC with no Alien
before stopping SC again to install a new version.

It's strange though, that Mac's Spotlight can't find the files there. I

But, I suspect Spotlight checks for some flags in the filesystem to get
the authorization to index or not (see the mdls, mdutil, mdimport...
commands under the command-line.)
