(commercial) an extra layer of security would be appropriate, but this
is hardly necessary for the common user.

I've now started the conversion of all my plugins to the SQLite based
version of Squeezebox Server(SqueezeCenter) 7.4. I'll be using this
thread for announcing new beta versions for 7.4, when the plugins are
stable enough I'll go back to the old announcement thread.

The Windows XP "server" I'm using for SqueezeCenter is also running
HTPC, fileserver, backup etc., so unfortunately I can't have
SvrPowerControl suspend the whole PC just because noone's currently
listening to SqueezeBox :)
I am however VERY interrested in a tool (running in the background)

Hello,
I am a longtime XM user and am thinking about getting one of the
Logitech Squeezebox units. I was wondering do I have to have my computer
browser on the XM online page when I am listening to XM Radio on a
Squeezebox unit.
Thanks for answering my question.
Sincerely,
Walter

Glad you found it useful and feedback is always helpful.
There is a minor update to CDplayer (
http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=64413 ) basically artwork
and seek into tracks and a few bug fixes. I forgot to move it from beta
to main. I should do that shortly.

The plugin needs to log in to XM to get the list of channels & presets.
If the login fails, you'll see a blank controller screen and the error.
Check that you entered email and password correctly into settings -
this is the email and password that you usually enter on the XM listen
online page.
Just wanted to thank bpa for this plugin.
Only had Squeezecenter etc since November 2008, but it's so good that I
haven't played any of my own CDs since then.
I was going to put my CD player and CDs into storage but was wondering
what I'd do if a friend brought round a CD and I no longer had anyth

IIRC, the message says something to the effect of "No server found". I
know that's not the exact message. XM Radio's web site was working at
the time.
The problem is that I don't see any channels or even the XM Radio
application in any form when I click on the XM Radio icon in
SqueezeCenter. A

well i can actually see the volume bar at the bottom moving around and
the volume changes on my speakers too

internal music player with the line out on the back of the dock but for
it to change the setting of an app confuses me

Same here - Poland. For me it happened yesterday... First I thought that
this is something related to my equipment - so I restarted everything I
could. Now I see that it happens to be not only my problem...
I am getting frustrated...
