I didn't see the option for date/time switching, this works fine, now.
I still would like a larger font for the displayed time :-)

A summary post when you have finished would be useful.
When describing reception issues it would help to indicate roughly the
environment you are living (e.g. US Urban/high density, US Rural,
European rural etc) as that gives an idea about how congestion and

I found a long USB extension lead to get RS2 away from PC is useful for
reception as PC are often hidden away.
To use external antenna all you need is a cable inserted into headphone
socket of RS2. I tested the external using a standard audio cable ( I
think with 2.5mm plug) and with one end cut
Hi Erland,
In the mode menu there is no option to return. Now i'm stuck and cannot

oh, that answers my question, what a shame.
I'm running on FreeNAS 0.686, and SlimNAS 1.2, to upgrade to 7.4+, I'll
need to be on SlimNAS 2.0.1,
I just selected one of the Squeezebox configurations available on the
Harmony web site for my 785 and I think it worked immediately.
Unfortunately I don't remember exactly which one but I think I found it
by just entering Squeezebox as product name.

Just read this on Micheal Herger's site:
SlimNAS does not run on the FreeNAS AMD64 build!
Does that mean I should not build my own Freenas based server on a PC

is part of the AMD64 family of chips?
Kind regards,

Hi Doc
Thanks for a superb program. Been running it on a low power (500MHz AMD
Geode) system with above expected performance. :)
If I may be so bold as to leave a feature request here, it would be
nice with some sort of "screen saver". I am thinking of a now playing
screen that is shown in full

I'm not familiar with WHS so I don't know the difference between the two
install methods tried and why the KVM method is needed.
It is good to know that USB audio devices work on WHS. So it seems the
"advice" I found that audio support has been stripped from WHS is wrong.
