A spotify playlist, made before the 'Title by Artist' was removed from
the plugin. I played it on my Squeezebox Touch.

I have checked all of those 3rd party ticked, only a few applets of
yours show on the server settings plugin tab on the browser, using
7.5.2, it was there the other day but I restarted and now it's gone (I
had to start over and delete all settings as it was crashing after
restarting), but its stil

Not sure about Windows 7 but on earlier versions of Windows, Java kept
preferences in the registry not in a file.
Search the registry for softsqueeze.

The machine on which I have installed Softsqueeze is a Windows 7 (32
bit) machine. I installed by remotely accessing Squeezebox Server and
installing from Community Softsqueeze.

Setting up Moose and letting it scan my library of exclusively flac
files (SQL Lite), which I ripped bit perfect with RIPNAS, I find moose
gets confused by the tags and recognizes many bands by the composer
rather than the main artist. For example, multiple Zero 7 albums are
listed under individu

How about restart Spotifyd.exe from your spotify menu?

set add a "All songs" at the top of the list? Just wondering, as this

I think you are best trying to get the automatic install to work -
suggest removing and reinstalling the server and then trying to install
the plugin via the plugin page.
If you don't know which files you have changed, then it will be hard to
make sure we can remove all of them

I did find the url of the repository, and I even managed to download
several versions of the plugin (compressed in zip format, right).
What I do not know right now, is where to copy the unzipped Spotify
folder that I get ... trust me that I tried to restart the server

It did. I moved it up one level manually. It's in
"/var/lib/cache/sq
The plugin assumes you have "play other songs in album or directory" set
for the player - this is a preference on the server settings page for
the player under basic settings.

I'm having trouble playing playlists from the Spotify plugin recently
released. When accessing the playlist from the the Squeezebox
Controller, I just can't get the full playlist to play. Whenever I
browse to the playlist I can't press "play" on the controller. Stepping

plugin ?. I messed around with the previous installation and right now
it does not update automatically to version beta11.

Softsqueeze only uses a few files in the directory / subdirectory it is
installed and its preferences.
The files and locations depend on the OS you are using and how you
installed Softsqueeze.

The install issue I was referring to is Jav

again and appears when playing music. After the nightly automatic
rescan for changed files this night, they surfaced this morning. In the
scanner.log there are also some similar error messages. I have not done
anything but pla
