Hi,
Is it just me that thinks that landscape mode gets annoying most of the
time? I'd like the option to turn it off. I can't see the pros of having
it in landscap mode on an iphone.

No, it's not just you but on the other hand there are also LOTS of
people who requested

Main argument is that you have more space for long titles/album names
which is especially important with classical music. This has been a big
issue for classical music lovers
Many people like SqueezePad very much as can be seen here:

Sorry, but I'm still struggling with the iTunes-plug-in. I would be very
glad, if anybody could provide some help. Is there a known bug? I can't
find anything in the different forums.
Thanks and BR,
Willy

I assume your songs are not DRM (digital rights management) songs

i don't have much exp with DLNA, but i always thought that way it was
supposed to work, most of the time, was without transcoding.
transcoding would only be necessary if the player device didn't
natively support the format. where is the transcoding taking place?
FYI. I got this working on Windows 7 with the Soundblaster X-Fi Surround
5.1. At first it produced a lot of echo, but when I turned down the
input levels the echo went away.
Works well and successfully streams and syncs with 3 other players in
my house.
The Soundblaster device just plugs in

Actually I should have answered less quickly - its already supported!
If you enable advanced search from the settings page, then this adds
an advanced search option to the web menu and also a Spotify URI menu
item which you should be able to use to paste
I'd previously posted my settings which work with itunes no problem -
hope they help!

Hi
I am a long-time fan of the SB range and have a Classic, Duet and
recently a Touch. I think the Touch is great in some aspects but woeful
in others and quite buggy. I am having some issues with a few things at
the moment:
1) iPeng will only sporadically see my SB Touch as a player. The Touch
Ok, my tries:
1. Could it be the Touch is connected to something else, e.g.
MySqueezebox.com? Have you ever connected iPeng to MySqueezebox.com?
You need to do that at least once to be able to see players on MySB, it
needs to be registered for your account and unless the Squeezebox
doesn't

Are you involved in ipeng?
Umm, yes, I wrote it.
Thanks for the warm words :)

I don't think there is anything available yet, but I suspect it might be
possible to do something fairly simple if there is a standard how images
are handled in RSS feeds.
Can you post a number of sample urls to RSS image feeds you would like
to use ?
The Flickr app/screen saver already exists
@ garym: Thanks, but there were no DRM protected files
@ yannyb: Thank you very much, for the very helpfull link. NOW IT WORKS
FINE!!
Best regards,

Hi Erland,
thanks for the reply. yes, i'm looking for something a bit more
generic. The benifit of a generic rss image reader is that services
like FrameIt or FrameChannel allow you to combine different feeds into
a single one.
some sample image feeds are here:

Great plugin! Thanks a lot. When I enable advanced search I can use
that option in the squeezebox server web client, but not in iPeng. Will
it be available in iPeng as well?
Well its explicitly excluded from the non web interfaces as I didn't
think people would want to
I noticed that today's Yankees @ Texas Rangers game didn't appear in
SDT. Perhaps an ESPN parsing issue?

With version 1.2.7 I am no longer able to wake the server.
I have the correct MAC number entered and the WOL settings ON.
WOL worked for me in the previous version. Now I have to use the iwol
app.
My port is set to 3483 in iPeng. Might that be the problem?

Echo was coming from having the computer audio not muted and the what
you hear also going at the same time. After muting the regular output
the echo went away from the computer and other squeezeboxes. Works like
a champ, but there is a 20 second lag.
