AFAICT Softsqueeze does support 24 bits if SBS requests it. Whether
Java Audio or other codecs supports 24 bit on your system will probably
depend on the Java port.
You may be better off us

Is there anyone here at all that would be kind enough to test native
sirius plugin? Use a public proxy from a geo-location that doesnt have
restrictions if you have to ...just for temporary development purposes.
PLEASE! I have a feeling it might be related to data being duplicated

There's no processing of the audio in the iplayer plugin - so this will
mean the source as changed volume. Nothing I can do about this I am
afraid.

Because iPlayer stopped working as of 6am yesterday.

Still down. Is this problem universal or can some of you still get

As someone of limited intelligence does this mean that if I wait

I can't see how to do that even in the web interface. Am I missing

I notice not infrequently - once a day or so - when listening to BBC
iPLayer that the volume will suddenly jump up (I'd guess something like
6dB) for no apparent reason. I have the volume control on the SB3
disabled. Has anyone else noticed this? Any idea why?

Why ? It would be duplication of effort especially as you already have

This issue is a fault with the programme guide used by several
manufacturers, and is not BBC related. Some manufacturers have
implemented software fixes."

My files are on a 1TB disk (D) in a desktop PC running XP SP3. SB and

The BBC iPlayer plugin isn't showing any data for shows that aired since
06:00 yesterday. Is everyone else seeing this ?
I can still access them via the BBC website, so I'm guessing they've
broken something in the XML datafeed again.
