"lots of things missing" usually means that the players' menu was not loaded. If you've got more than one you can fix it by switching to another player, if you don't, leaving iPeng and returning usually helps. It's a server issue (I have seen it on my touch, too) but I believe the next iPeng upda

VLC 1.1.9 on Ubuntu doesn't play the rtsp stream. Have you checked under Tools / Media and Codec information regarding what is format the stream it ? If it is a Microsoft protocol then VLC may be using libraries which are only available under Windows. The playreal plugin is for playing RealAudi

We are talking about this stream rtsp://livestreaming.ositcom.net:1935/vdl/vdllb VLC 1.1.8 plays this stream well, I just tested it again. I am not sure if there is a command line version of VLC that can replace mplayer and what changes I need to make.. Sounds extensive ( I am on a window XP PC)

I'm trying to install the new version of the plug-in but it won't install. Server keeps reporting new plugin available. Now going to try the usual (reboot machine etc.) It's running on WHS / Server Version: 7.6.1 - r33110. Will report if it worked. Anyone else having similar troubles? -- punkm
