I've just downgraded to 7.6.1 and although the scans are completing I am
still seeing I/O errors in the log:
[11-12-27 12:38:43.8698] Slim::Schema::Storage::throw_exception (119)
Error: DBI Exception: DBD::SQLite::db commit failed: disk I/O error

I have the Spotify plug-in running on Squeezebox Server 7.7.1.
Seems to be working fine, except both Artist, Tracks and Album is
empty when I choose the Library menu.
Playlists are working fine, but I prefer album view.
The Library is not empty in the desktop Spotify app, so just wondering
I am not trying to do anything really complicated, I would just like the
audio output from my notebook to go to my stereo system. I don't want to
attach any cables to my notebook or buy any new hardware. Since my
notebook already has WiFi it seems like this would be the easiest
(only) solution.

were not getting in this list, or at least not completely or

Hi
Shutting down the server (the machine) from the
Squeezebox/SrvrPowerCtrl web interface works fine. However doing the
same from the Logitech Android app does not. It simply says
Ladevorgang läuft (charging in progress) but does not run the
shutdown command. When I shut it down from the web

I've been using Triode's plug-in for some time now. Recently I replaced
my music server with a newer one, so I did a clean install of
squeezeboxserver, so now I'm running 7.7.1 on Ubuntu 11.10 x64.
I can't get Triode's plug-in to log in. When I try to set the password,
I get this in the log
All of a sudden I can't find the radioSHARK2 available for sale any
more, only the radioSHARK.
Does this plugin work with the radioSHARK?

I have not been able to get this app to work for the last few weeks.
Stations cut out after approx 15 seconds and reset back to 0. I think
it was the last update when it stopped working properly. Is there any
work around or am I the only one having this issue.

I installed Squeezebox on my system and it is pretty resource heavy.
From what I see it is running in Pearl???
Logitech Media Server is implemented using perl, it will use a bit of
resources during initial scanning but after it has scanned your library
it shouldn't
The plugin can be made to work with original RadioShark but it has a
different protocol and a different supporting app which I cannot test.
IIRC I think I provided details to another user about the necessary
changes somewhere in this thread but I cannot be sure they work.
I find it hard to
I gave that a try, but the result was the same. Here's what showed up in
the logs. I entered a password in both cases; for my real account the
password was correct.
Here's changing it to a fictitious user:

For everybody playing with hi-rez support I needed to modify LMS to get
it to send hi-rez to VortexBox Player. The default in LMS is to
resample to 48k unless it's connected to a Touch or Transporter. If you
ever get hi-rez support for SqueezeSlave working you will need to do the
same.

Thanks for the reply. This tells me I need to buy a radioSHARK2 as soon
as I find one if they've stopped making them.

It looks to me that the desktop application is keeping up with my tracks

The recent spotify preview version now has apps and there's quite a few

- the radio feature is improved; now you can for instance start a radio
station based on one song
- there is a last fm app, and you can generate playlists based on a
song, recommendations
