A little off topic... Can any Windows desktop music player play the
higher bitrate, no-ads stream of Pandora One? Apart from the Pandora One
desktop app.

Yes I'm going to try it out as it seems that you can use your phone as a
remote control for Google music. That's pretty cool!

I don't understand where you see this BBC password. I can use BBC
IPlayer from a computer (web browser) without a password.

Where does BBC rrequire login - for me (in Ireland outside UK) using web
browser to access iPlayer does not require login and my alternative

Just been made aware of this thread, started after mine on the Duet
forum. I appreciate now that this would have been a better place to air
this problem.
My question now is that the BBC now require logging in to I Player and
yet Triode's plug in still works fine. No surprise perhaps that the Beeb
Try adding -r 48000 to the command line when starting squeezelite, just
to see if that allows squeezelite to run.
If it does, then change the 48000 to match the maximum supported
samplerate for your DAC and try running squeezelite again.
