I don't know whether there's a way to create a network connection
through the lightning cable if you do a jailbreak - I mean: there is
one, iTunes uses it, there's just no access in the normal setup.
No idea whether that would work with iPeng if the iPod could be hacked
to use the cable.

Hi -- sorry if this has been asked before. I've been searching
around...
I'm planning on doing a carputer type setup with a small windows box
possibly LMS, for music only right now. For simplicity/reliability's
sake I'd like to control it with iPeng on a permanently mounted iPhone
or Ipod Touch
