I had set up a folder with symlinks for LMS to point to. However, when I
did the MusicIP scan, I pointed it directly to the music files. That was
causing LMS and MusicIP in effect to see different paths.
I did a rescan in LMS without the symlinks and that sorted it out.
wouldn't it be possible to add the Multiroom-Feature if the
Connect-Server runs with LMS?
Another advantage for me would be the possibility to add the Songs im
listening on Spotify Radio to my personal Playlist without researching
it in the official app.

Yes, that's a known issue and I already have a fix that will be included
in the next update.
In LMS 7.9 iPeng filters the genre list for the albumartist role, which
it needs to do if you have the separate lists configured but if you only
have a single list that role is usually undefined.

I updated and unfortunately it didn't fix the problem. I think i may
have to reinstall from scratch.
Before updating i tried some months ago to install shairtunes plugin but
that was not ok and i disabled the plugin. Could it be related to that?
