Not a problem now that I have retired the ReadyNAS from LMS
You might want to run 'apt-get -f install' to correct these:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
libio-socket-ssl-perl : Depends: libnet-ssleay-perl (>= 1.35) but it is
not going to be installed
I think this has been discussed in ReadyNAS related discussions before.
I'd suggest you

v1.4.0 is on its way to you. This is big news - for some of the unhappy
(so far) Synology users: this build adds support for ARMv5 based NAS
devices. I've had a lot of feedback from Synology users missing this. So
hopefully this good news finds you well.

I believe so, screen appeared with a lot of info and an input for

Hi there,
does have anybody of you guys an idea how to play a podcast with the
spotty plugin? The menu item "podcasts" is not been shown at the
squeezebox as it is shown at the android app. An I found no way to add a
podcast to a playlist which would make me able to have so on the
squeezebox.

It has nothing to do with that. I am playing back a "normal" playlist
with all tracks available.

Yes, I get the same problem on my iPad - the LMS web interface is a
fixed page, it is not possible to scroll around. Sometimes
Apologies, as I'm sure this must be in the thread or elsewhere the

Can you point me to a JSON example related to LMS, please? I'll try to

You basically send a POST request to the /jsonrpc.js endpoint. Grab your
browser, start the developer's console (or javascript console or
whatever it's called in your browser) and monitor what requests the
I have made a bold assumption that my ReadyNas Duo V2 runs ARMv5.
Correct? If not, read no further!:p
I _hope_ it's correct, as I have the same in the office (but I'm not
there today). But I haven't tested this yet. TBH: I think it is running
a very old glibc which might still make spotty fail

Telnet is easy, and works fine, but requires opening a terminal and
such, while a bookmark is on the same window of the player UI.
