Please tell me more about the "slimbrowse" modes. I wasn't aware of it.
It's basically the protocol SB Touch/Radio/Controller/etc. talk: the
device wouldn't request "give me Spotify choices", but tell it "give me
the menu". This would return the menu item's title, the command to be
executed

Are you using the Connect feature? I think that would be a daemon
crashing. Or if you skipped in LMS mode from one track to another. I've
seen crashes in that situation, too.
The underlying librespot project currently is undergoing major
@michael: For me (FreeBSD 11.1) spotty is working like it should. But
since the very beginning I find this msg in my daily security run

I think i also tested it with "Resume at power on" but i am not sure.
I'll try this in the next days, but i don't think that this is the
reason.

Michael, could this be a librespot issue since the only players affected
are squeezeboxes. Is it worth you bringing it up in your librespot
forums?
Interesting: there's been a report about the Spotify app not updating
Now Playing information on Android:
correct - they do not show on the plugin installation page.
However, I just noticed that if I go look at an album and press 'M',
then I get the option to lookup artist information, biography, album
review etc., and it works. I can see you are busy trying to setup the
new build environment, so

However, when I look at the same playlist via Spotty I'm only seeing 491
for some reason. I've tried removing the Spotty plugin and re-installing
but no dice.
Spotty is limited to 500 track per playlist. You could get your own
application ID (client_id) from

They should certainly be around. Are they disappeared from the Plugins

Is there a reason for this? Discontinued?

Hello all. Firstly thanks to Michael for this great plug-in - great
work.
I'm having problems with playlists and wonder if anyone else is seeing
similar behaviour. I've one list with 848 tracks. When I look at my
Spotify app on my android phone also shows 848, as does my daughters

No, that should not be necessary. I am also pretty sure that this is not
caused by a software bug - i use this plugin every single day and i
would have noticed
hello All,
I installed Squeezelite on a desktop running Ubuntu 16.04-64bit, via the
usual apt-get install.
I have a few Raspi running Squeezelite, so I thought it would have been
an easy promenade.
I then entered the relevant info in /etc/defaults/squeezelite about name
of player, and server
Ok, thanks that works.

Since about 2 weeks it seems that when i press 'play' on a track from
the search result list, the complete search result list are copied into
the whole playlist.
All works fine for about 1 year.
I use the actually plug in 0.63.1
piCorePlayer 3.22 and LMS on RaspPi 3
First i reinstall the LMS
latest version of LMS installed and this error now fixed. enjoying
lossless flac radio paradise bliss.

Local tracks has not been prioritized yet, but I will try to make it
work as soon as I get the time (I mainly use spotty/spotify and podcasts
myself).
It's a pity you didn't implement the "slimbrowse" modes. This would have
given you all menus in one go, instead of having to implement all of
