Hi there - longtime squeeze control user, I love it.
I encountered some unexpected behavior today. I went into my local music
via My Music -> Genres and picked a Genre (Holiday, in my case) and it
shows all artists that have music in that Genre. I wanted to add all the
holiday music by that art
Great - I'll do some experimenting. Took me a while to figure it's
Control plus capital D. ;-)
The abort pop-up windows were separate dialogue boxes to the app window.

Unless you want to implement something yourself (using squeezelite's
visualizer export), I'd suggest you explore the ALSA option suggested
above. You can send the stream to two cards, one being the real HW, the
other a 'file plugin'

I've been listening to The Jazz Groove 128K stream for about a year,
just discovered that they have subscription based hi Rez streams
available...its web protocols, browser only for now. Any of you
Squeezebox app gurus Jazz fans who could whip something up for my trusty
SB3 to get the higher bit

now I understand.
I normally looked at lyrics with the option to click on the 3dots next
to the song, click on more and then on lyrics.
In this way the lyrics are displayed next to the playlist in the
material skin and they do not update.
But when clicking on the "i" next to the vol

Thanks Paul - good suggestion. I tried with an mp3 file directly first
instead of stream.mp3 from LMS just to verify I was doing things
correctly, and that worked as expected. When I switched things to a flac
file, it failed. The error log showed this:

Works fine using the "Material" skin.
And iPeng imho, too. Which shows that this is a client feature. LMS
cannot push that information to the clients, they have to pull it.

Hi all,
irrespective of the interface which is used (browser on PC, apps on
phone, Squeezelite, Squeeze Control etc) I think it would be useful if
the displayed lyrics would update once a song is over and the next one
begins.
At the moment this update has to be done manually.
Any chance to includ
LMS stream.mp3 emulates a SHOUTcast server.
So one way to do it is to test it is to install a real SHOUTcast server
and point your Alexa device to that ... then give the server a flac
stream via a local Winamp.
All a bit fiddly.
Easier put a flac file on a web server and tell Alexa to play that .
