OK, I've uploaded version 0.3 to the original post with error logging
in the HTTP response handler. This is what is failing before messages
like "Failed to get podcast subscription list.".
I expect this is just the beginning of what will be needed with
additional logging, but it's a place to st
Hallo Michael,
seit ca. 10.11.2020 habe ich folgendes Problem mit dem Spotty Plugin
(v4.4.2).
Fehlermeldung im LMS:
[20-11-17 06:53:13.6827] Plugins::Spotty::API::__ANON__ (1424) API call:
playlists/37i9dQZF1DXcZDD7cfEKhW/tracks?limit=50&market=from_token
[20-11-17 06:53:13.6830] Plugins::Spot
Adding the suggested "Spotty Helper Application for ARMv8/aarch64
architecture" plug-in appears to resolve the problem, despite it giving
the warning "Do NOT install on Raspberry Pi". Presumably that dates
from when there was no 64 bit Pi?
Thanks! Yes, that's outdated by now.

Are you sure this is a different log? It looks the same to me, and with

Thanks - I'll look at that. The manufacturer saying there is no standard
is ironical or sad when there is one but they don't re

I am having a very hard time finding rss feeds that the aggregator
accepts. About 90% of the feeds I find online displays nothing.
I'm not sure why.
In the meantime here's a jivelite800x480 version that works for stocks,
news and sports, has weather / forecast, analog and digital clock.

So I assume you have tried HTTP "chunked" and 'fixed length" mode as
well? If not, can you take a log but not add extra debugging? Just set
to "-d all=info" is good enough to start with.

I had a play today with piCorePlayer 7.0.0 beta on my Pi 4B 2GB with LMS

The only hiccup I had was that Spotty fails to connect with the
following error displayed when opening up Spotty's settings:
There has been a problem running the Spotty helper application.

It seems like there is a major problem with V8 for me: Erland's plugins
may not work. This, if true, would mean an end to my attempts to upgrade
LMS as Custom Scan and Custom Browse along with the Library plugin are
totally essential. I have read Erland's comments on the thread started
when he ma
The RSS aggregator seems to be rather picky about the form of the feed.
Many feeds I am trying aren't working.
Having one that works as an example helps in the searches.
I should come up with something working today.

I am getting newsfeeds to display with your example.
Now to find a suitable feed and add this to my screen...
Thanks again.
Stay tuned.

Hello, I downloaded a 7.9.2 package about a year ago to update my
Synology Beta 7.9.1-168 LMS. Then, well family problems, Christmas and
New Year and just about to pick it up again in February and ... the
house was flooded (about 40cm deep but bad enough) ... then Covid-19 and
lockdowns - yes 202

I have done the suggestion by mherger with my own Spotify Client ID -
and it works perfect!!
And another funny thing, that is not related to ClientID (I think) is
that my "usual" errors are gone also since 21st of October:

If you mean for a Raspberry Pi then just get an official Raspberry Pi
one with inline switch not a cheap alternative.
VB2.
I got this wrong presentation on iPad and iPhone in iPeng when I go via
album artist, through the webinterface it's correct. Also in iPeng
everything shows perfect under new music, artists etc.

Once I get the quirks out, I'll post a working jivelite and a working HD
file.
I think the issue may be with the specific rss feed, perhaps I can't
find a working one? The examples I've tried so far all had an out of
date rss url, so I tried many local news ones but no luck so far.
I'll test
Thanks for the token fix using the client ID, Thanks also for all of
your amazing work on this plug-in. I can't tell you how much it has
changed the way I listen to music.
