I noticed this in /var/log/syslog: "Slim::Utils::PluginManager::load
(219) Skipping plugin: Qobuz - in erroneous state: needs-install"
As a recent message?
Presumably the newest Qobuz plugin isn't in the main 8.2.0 package? How
Qobuz is independent of the LMS version.
What OS are you using?

Check if cdd2wav can even see the drive. Try the command below -
depending on the install it may be necessary to prefix with path to
cdda2wav
Code:
cdda2wav -scanbus
does it show up your CD drive ?
Try running the command as administrator

I don't know that MusicIP can be run on pCP, but it can be run on rPi

hence my comment here.
I have LMS on pCP but maintain a headless MusicIP server on Windows, the

Good question. I too have 2.5.1 including files that are more recent
than the release of LMS 8.2.0. Is there some mechanisms that updates
plugins? I havent manually
I've always run LMS on a headless Win10 server, mainly due to me being
familiar with Windows and also the server runs some other Win based apps
that I use.
However, I am becoming less and less convinced that this is the best

So you have volume fixed at 100% in LMS, correct? What about alsamixer?
LMS 8 nightly running on Raspberry Pi OS. Mostly virtual players,
occasionally with SB Radio, Boom or Classic.

Those instructions are from 2008 - not advisable for Win10 probably only
good for Win7. I think the cdda2wav download has gone my "homepage" as
the build was too old for 8, 10

Install the plugin.
You do not need to install cdrtools - all that is needed is a copy of

You're lucky. My Boom always goes to 99 after the server restarts.
Nobody seem to know what it might be or where in the config files the
setting changes. Only solution seems to be a clean reinstall of the
server.
