I like the idea of MusicBrainz ID tags, but I don't want MusicBrainz to
change the OTHER tags like Artist, Title, Year, etc. Is there a way to
just add the MusicBrainz ID tags while leaving the rest alone?

hardcore time keepers there could be the option to
interrupt the currently playing song aswell, hehe.
As I'm not a great coder I leave the idea for anyone to pick up.

No limit for the SB, and whatever mp3 bitrate you want for the Slimp3

If we go to all the trouble of implementing ratings in slimserver, I
feel we should design a finer-grained system than the iTunes 5-star
system.

issues.
Using Slimserver 6.2.2 on Linux, SlimRemote 0.71 on Win2k

remote button I pushed. Also, I see no confirmation on the screen.
