those problems simply by getting Alien in the correct directory,
everything works fine, all the Live Streams, and all the Archive /
Listen Again streams. I haven't needed to install the Addon referred
to (unless it was included in Alien 2.01.).

Just upgraded from SC 7.01 to 7.2 (under XP). No more Alien BBC! I
went to the Alien site and downloaded the latest installer pack, and
installed that into the Plugins folder. Nada. No sign of Alien in the
menus, and my old saved Alien playlists produce nothing.
Help!

What am I doing wrong? I want to use the SqueezeCenter interface to

I can just do different buffer sizes by trial and error - but is there
any way of calculating what the optimum buffer size should be?

I'd prefer to pipe it to my Squeezebox via Slimerver / AlineBBC. Any
ideas?

Hmm - well, the NZ site seems to be doing more general cricket coverage
today, rather than ball-by-ball from Adelaide. Maybe they only do
direct, live broadcasts at sertain times of day, rather than all day.

ero - but I can see no way of
adjusting the SoftSqueeze volume in that particular skin. I have to
swap to the Squeezebox Remote Emulator skin to have volume controls.
Any thoughts?

Brilliant! Ya learn something eve
ies a pane of its own in the task bar. Clicking on that pane
brings up the SoftSqueeze (I use the neat Slim Excession skin), which
is fine. But I'd prefer SoftSqueeze to minimize to the System Tray
alomg with SlimServer, rather than have it's own taskbar pane.
Any way of doing that?

the perfect solution, especially as I can npw synch up the
office audio (SoftSqeeze running powered speakers off the big PC) with
the main house audio (Squeezebox running through conventional hi-fi).
Perfect.
That BBC Winamp plug-in is useful to
ly to be with a) BBC Radio Channels, and
