Is this a new error message originating with the recent update? Looks
nasty as it's in RED in the log!

Two servers:
1. Pi 2 running debian. stream reported as 705 kbps CBR Ogg Vorbis
(Spotify) (Converted to FLAC)
2. Pi Zero running debian. stream reported as 1411 kbps CBR Ogg Vorbis

Any ideas? How to equalize the stream rates?

I just tried the castbridge again with a live mp3 stream - pause works.
However, if I stream a BBC station (using bpa's iplayer plugin - AAC
format) then pause has no effect.

Using the plugin with a Home mini - excellent but pause (for live
streams) via the lms-gui seems to be ignored. Settings are the default
provided by the plugin.
Any tips?

Just a brief point. I tried using a smartdns (not VPN). Easier to
implement either on router and/or on Raspi. I wasn't using max2play,
and it was a couple of years ago. The Beeb have restricted many vpns
and smartdns services since.

As an alpha tester, I'm sad to report that the Alexa skill no longer
works. It appears that the plugin is no longer able to reach the skill.
We can only send our best wishes to peter mee and say thank-you for what
was an exciting development.

Okay! Thanks. I have no problems with live streams using chromecast -
here's the system info
Windows10Pro 64-bit desktop, with an AMD PhenomII x945 processor running
at 3 GHz, with 8 GB of RAM.
iPlayer - 1.5.4.5 - DASH only - all other settings as default
No VPN - using the non-UK menu
Players are chromecasts via castbridge plugin

I'll ask!
