Agreed, with particular emphasis on the bit

One thing I've just noticed with the latest beta:
I set up a hierarchy. I then browse the database. I then go back to
browsing the albums -- but the hierarchy has disappeared, and I have to
set it up again. This is repeatable. Presumably the hierarchy should be
persistent in this scenario, as it

Your worries about real estate are understandable. Space will always be
at a premium in an information-rich environment like Muso. If you can't
see a way to run panes in the main panel,

Not sure what was wrong. I've edited the note, hopefully it's visible
now.

jezbo -- Thank you for considering this. From my point of view, the
custom tags are actually optional. As I explained above, because many
programs don't read custom tags, I have had to duplicate any important
information in standard tags (e.g., my vital SUBGENRE tag is duplicated
in my COMMENT tag

You use Custom Scan (if necessary) to import any custom tags, then you

In what sense? Obviously I have a Custom Browse menu in LMS, and I've
used custom tags to create that menu. But I don't think there's any
facility in LMS to view/import/edit custom tags (out

No, that's why I've put the query back to jezbo -- he seems to be
suggesting that Muso should be importing all LMS custom tags, but I
can
use this option)

After much digging around the web looking for the perfect music browser,
I registered Muso. I don't think there is anything else out there that
comes close to what you have achieved so far with this program. So
congratulations.
Having said that...as I said in a previous post, there are frustratio

I just use the custom tags to create custom menus in LMS (using Custom
Browse).

Yes, the Custom Scan and Custom Browse plugins allow you to scan and
browse custom tags in LMS.

Yes, I have a custom tag (which I call sub-genre) which contains the
section information.

So I've been playing with Muso today and I'm impressed. Generally I like
the style of presentation, and it makes browsing my collection more
interesting. However there are two factors that, for me, make it
difficult to use. So this post is basically a feature request.
Firstly, would it be possibl

I'm getting the following error message: "Connection Failed: A
connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly
respond after a period of time, or established connection failed
