more successfully now. I tend to agree, I think they've
introduced some form of anti abuse system on the site.

Hi,
I couldn't believe my luck yesterday when I downloaded the latest
version of SlimServer (6.3.1) and AlienBBC (automatic install)
I've tried numerous times in past to get it working but always failed
so wasn't expecting much when I tried the BBC listen live stream
so what could be causing
this?
slimserver running on Win SBS 2003 SP1, both SB and SB2 are wireless
and play everything else fine.
cheers

not too fussed about this
though. I presume this is because of some hardware difference between
the 2 and the format that AlienBBC defaults too..?

Is that the one I need to disable? There isn't one for rstpflc.

Yes, I have lame installed as I can bitrate limit everything else.
I'm now home and trying alienbbc on the squeezebox2 I get nothing at
all :-(
But using softaqueeze over the local LAN does work. So what does that
tell us?
What IS working?
What isn't?
cheers
