Hi
I have a 212+ and would really like try this out.
I've uninstalled the Synology LMS but still have ssods and LMS 7.8
installed.
Can I leave SSODS and LMS 7.8 installed and just stop the LMS process
then try installing the new pink dot package?

Hi,
One thing I notice is that there has been very high CPU usage by Perl.
This is on occasion since I installed the LMS repack. The only thing
that resolves it is a reboot of the NAS. Has anyone else experienced
that?
I've got a 212+ and the latest DSM.

Thank you... Yes it was AVG. If I disable it, squeeze player works fine.
Odd though as I disabled AVG but left the firewall active which resolves
the issue. If I disable the firewall only (which I tried before posting
here) it doesn't help!

I notice that Synology have a new maintenance release of DSM 6
available. I was thinking of installing that on my 212+ now (as I still
have DSM 5 installed with LMS Repack). Just wondered, in theory should
the new LMS package work with this new release of DSM?

I have had exactly the same problem since about Monday this wee k..
Thought it was due to a problem with my Synology NAS since my DSM O/S
was updated on the same day. I'm running Pinkdot's version of LMS v7.9.
Release from about July as I recall! I'm in the UK too.

Just a little confused now! There seems to be LMSUpdate which i'm
currently using and is based on the Synology package. Then there is the
LMSRepack.
Can I ask whats the difference between them and what I should be using?

Just to say that I've installed the latest Repack to replace the Update
version. I've currently got the Update version stopped on DSM.
All working perfectly on a Syno 212+...
