I've made some changes, If you attempt to connect to port 9000 a
message pops up and warns you of the fact and the connection is then
closed.
Also IP address and port settings are still saved at exit time but only
if MC2Slim is connected to slimserver. This means that if you enter a

I tried installing MC2Slim in my new Vista Home Premium laptop, and it
came back with a loop of some error messages about not being able to
communicate with Slim. I had to close it with task Manager. After
that my Slim http://localhost:9000 was not accessable, despite the Slim
service br

Great job on this 'plugin', I've been successful in setting up but have
a few questions:
I should explain what I want to use MC2Slim for, which is to have music
which is not in my main SS library but can be played by the SB. This is
