For anyone that's having the 'failed update' issue, you may see the real
error from LastFM in the log when this occurs.
If you can let me know what it is, and the station you were trying to
select, it would be helpful.

I have an annoying problem with this plugin. That is, no matter what I
try to play using similar artists, it always plays the same thing. For

Andy Williams and the Kingston Trio to the "Thievery Corporation" to
opera) "similar
James/Phil, just to say that I ran James' Last.fm plugin
(Squeezescrobbler 1.0.6) for a few hours yesterday on an XP box with no
major problems. One crash when changing stations (which is par for the
course in my experience) but no other problems with streaming or
love/skip/ban.

James, your version of the plugin is working fine for me (XP) with SC7
and I've been using it pretty regularly over Christmas. Will have a
try this evening and report back.

Thanks Phil
Maybe no-one else is using it any more ? ;-)

I've mentioned it before too - it's been broken for a while.
What's the best way to proceed - raise an SC bug? I wondered if it was perhaps

Hi Phil,
I've seen the second one before.
It appears to be a bug in SlimServer, which I have asked about before
I'm sure, but never got any responses.
The first one I should be able to fix, it's probably just things
happening in the wrong order.

More often than not, since moving to SC7.0, I can't seem to stream LastFM
stations.
I have managed to play my neighbourhood once via the WebUI (but I notice a
couple of warnings):
