Hi,
I just made the transition from SS to SC. The shutdown.pm script, once
posted in a forum thread though does not work anymore under
SqueezeCenter.
I don't know if this is easily to fix and if someone is willing to do
that for me but it would really be greatly appreciated.

Frank, here you go it is ver. 2.0 for Windows... I didn't realized it
was you. The modified plugin is in my server and I'm not at home now.
Maybe you can enhance it a little bit.

Hi tamanaco - I wanted to try the link you put up (ver. 2.0 for Windows)
but it just reports invalid or corrupted file - is there any chance you
could put it up again as I cannot yet find a version of PowerCtrl
plugin that works on the SC7 official stable release - hope you can
help.

Not sure if it is just me but I still get the error "The Compressed
(zipped) Folder is invalid or corrupted." when I try and unzip your
"PowerCtrl_win32.zip" file. I am using the default Windows XP unzip
utility, which works with all the other plugin zip files I downloaded
yesterday (since I had
I have no problems with the file, but I normally use winrar. The .zip is
the original file as it was posted. Here the content in a .rar file with
a .txt extension at the end. Just rename it PowerCtrl.rar and decompress
it. Let me know if this works.

perfectly for me in SC7, WinXP SP2.
Took a bit of exploring before I found the Server Power Control in
Extras (rather than Plugins as in SC6).

daz, the only thing I can think of is that the whole PowerCtrl directory
has to be in the Plugins directory, so in Plugins I have two directories
- LazySearch2 and PowerCtrl. After moving the PowerCtrl directory in I
stopped Squeezecentre and then started it. In Squeezecentre - Settings,

I was getting those warnings when I had the powerctrl folder in the
normal plugin folder. I believe it is supposed to be in the
slim/plugin folder. I have it there so the warnings have stopped in my
logs, the item still shows up in the plugin settings menu (with tick)
but it is still nowhere to
I've fixed it!
Somehow the install.xml file (and the Plugin.pm file) got translated to
MS-DOS encoding (with cr-lf at the end of the line). Converting back to
unix encoding seems to have fixed the problem.
I used emacs to convert to unix but I'm sure there are other ways.

Mine looks ok. I've unzipped with both winrar and winzip (different
downloads each time).
Still not working here though :o(
