Hi
Sorry to hijack this thread but is there any digital frame hat allows
for pictures to be shared across multiple screens (2x2 matrix
displaying 1 image OR 1 image sliding across multiple screens?
It seems such an obvious feature but I've not been able to find it.

Here's another nice-looking, not-yet-available product, courtesy of the
slashdot rumor mill:

That looks pretty awesome.
I like that the hardware is open too. could be a very cool (if niche)
product.

I have a colleague who has a bluetooth-enabled digital photoframe, and
he tells me that he is able to push pictures to that almost
instantly... might be worth some research?

I don't have such a frame, but my sister does. She says when you send
photos to the email address, there is quite a delay before it is
displayed. I don't know about the time frame if you are taking
pictures directly from your computer.

The iMate Momento frames support Vista Sideshow, perhaps that could
help?

Good point - however the estirling ones say they have a dedicated email
address so I'd imagine they would display as soon as they received it -
unless of course the address is on their server and the frame has to
periodically poll it. Not seen them first-hand though.

I think it is a great idea.
Instead of pushing to the frame, one workaround would be to set an
photo album of only 2 pictures and set the slide show time to the
shortest. The plugin just need to keep updating the 2 pictures. The
photo frame would then get it automatically.
Even cooler would

The biggest problem I've seen with those photo frames is that most do
not support having pictures pushed to them. Not only that, but
there's usually very little pre-sales documentation on how frequently
they will pull from the network. Nobody wants a Now Playing display

Just looking at ' wireless 'digital picture frames''

Struck me that it would be neat to be able to use one of these as a
large 'now playing' display, so you could read it from across the room.
Sure this wouldn't be too hard for someone who already knows how to do
