For the File Types rule FLAC>PCM, is one of the drop-down options
"FLAC/InguzDSP"? If so, try it.
If not or no change, it will probably be a matter of editing the
custom-convert.conf file that governs TIDAL. Hopefully, someone else
who uses TIDAL will chime in with direction. I'd start by
I don't have Tidal, so can't help out with the detail - are you using
Tidal to stream MQA to the DAC? If so I don't think Inguz is going to
work as it needs the source decoded to wav. I got Qobuz working, because
it streams as Flac and can be unpacked to wav format.
If you can set Tidal to

Inguz seems to really hog resources. I#8217;d have LOVED to use it, but

Thanks for the feedback Moonbase. Sounds like my machine is more
marginal than I thought. Pity as the plugin seems to be quite
powerful. I just thought it was odd that the music would play for so
long (approx 1 hour)before striking problems.

I recently installed Inguzeq onto my duet system running windows xp SP3
and Squeezecenter 7.3.2. Since installing, I've started getting a
weird response where the music suddenly stops playing - well it's not
that it stops playing - I can see on the controller that the song is
till progerssing -
I have just installed the Inguzeq plugin and everything seemed to be ok
(I can access and modify on my duet controller) but when I try to
access the settings page on the web interface, I just get a blank
screen. I have maually tried to open the index.html file that the
settings link is trying to
Just as an update to this issue, I don't think the EQ function is
working at all on my duet. Not getting any response when changing
equilizer settings including balance. I can't see any inguz processes
running (in windows xp). I am using the latest version of Inguz. In
checking the plugin
That's so ridiculously simple!
Thanks Peddy, much appreciated. A few tweaks with Inguz makes quite a
difference for my system.

No problem :)
Just a question, is it possible to scan (skip) through music tracks
when using InguzEQ? I have some very long DJ mixes that I'd like to
play, but since they're transcoded, scanning doesn't work.
Cheers :D

Not too sure about sc 7.3 but it maybe that you have a test signal set.
On the classic, go to player menu, extras, EQ, settings, Test Signals,
then select off.

I see the EQ - EQ - EQ thing too, after installing yesterday's

Tell me more (by PM) about your problem registering on the forum. Did
you not get email, or not manage to log in, or...? -thanks.

I tried to reply on the forum but couldn't manage to register.
I'm seeing the same problem someone else mentioned, IE a looping EQ
entry under Extras on the Squeezebox, I'm also not seeing the graphic
on the web page. I'm using IE7 and it installed Silverlink ok.

I am getting some error messages from time to time in my log file, but
they are very infrequent. Since the problem in question occurs with
every track where EQ is active, I assume the errors are unrelated.
--
esbrewer
Yes, probably unrelated. Sorry for delay here - it'll be a few days
before I can try out a series of apple-lossless tracks myself.

Yes, reducing gain is the only way to avoid clipping.
The log file looks fine. You should install the latest version
(http://inguzaudio.com/installation) which fixes the HASH() message
and the EQ sometimes not responsing to changes.
SoftSqueeze support is broken right now - sorry about that.
What file format is playing?
