OK - I can see the difference bertween the two. FFW/REW will only work
if duration is known and MP3 is shown as codec. The missing "MP3" was a
niggle I saw before.
Not sure if you do this but on GUI when MP3 is showning you don't use
FFW/REW buttons but click on time bar to skip.

Works sometimes depending on the programme but changes day to day. For
instance yesterday it worked for Helen Mayhew's Dinner Jazz, Sarah Ward
Jazz Travel but
Frozzers, thanks for showing the way. Thing is, to be honest I rarely
use the web view, so I didn't go far enough. But as slim-maikel says,
it's those extra steps that deter. Anyway, I'll be sticking with TuneIn
Radio and iPeng for now, as that's easy and clear.

First apologies for my confusion over how it all works.
I backed up and copied the files, then checked the plugin (which I had
previously unchecked to tidy the GUI) and restarted LMS. Checked the new
plugin listed at the top and re-started LMS again.

Yes insert the URL and you can play it whenever you like. Saved a weeks
worth of 'Dinner Jazz' to favourites and can play them in any order I
like. Quality seems better as well.
Playlist information looks like being more useful on Jazz FM as well,
now they put play times on songs.

I notice we have lost Jazz FM again, on Duet in my case.
Their website has changed and I suppose improved in that you can catch
up on three or four previous shows, instead of just the latest.

Unless my ears have been playing tricks, the Jazz FM (UK) Audio On
Demand stream via 'Internet Radio' has been heavily degraded
(compressed) recently. The station outputs some excellent programmes
including the three hour 'Dinner Jazz'. Anyone know how to access a high
quality stream?
