I love your app. I hope to move to the right tablet soon and it is a
priority that yours works!
SlideMe doesn't seem to work on my Fire. Says installation failed.

Hey I bought!! :)
The problem with your license scenario is when I buy the KF2 and it is
more securely locked out of the android market, I will be screwed!

Edit: And I hate copy protections myself, because most of the time,
they are a PITA for loyal customers and still can't really stop illegal
copies.
That's why I really like to keep it that way...

You can install the SlideME.org Market App (SAM) from
http://slideme.org/sam
and install SqueezeCommander from within SAM on your device

Or if you have a rooted phone you can buy from the market, use root
explorer

Works great on the fire btw!
While I'm perfectly fine with that (buy once and install on as many
devices as you like), this

wow - you don't do that yet? On Android where rooted phones are much

Try to download the binary from
http://bugs.slimdevices.com/attachment.cgi?id=7574action=edit - it's
unreleased yet, but should work fine. You'll have to enable
Settings/Device/Allow Installation of Applications in order to be able to
isntall the file.

I just got the Kindle Fire and noticed right away that there's nothing

Any thoughts from the experts?

It does have a browser. Point it to http://x.x.x.x:9000 where x.x.x.x
is the IP address of your machine running LMS/SBS. No guarantee how
well the Silk browser will handle page rendering, but you should have
access to music selection and playback controls. Post back with your
experience as
Doesn't the silk browser always proxy through Amazon's service? In this
case you can't use it to browse local sources.

You can manually sideload our app onto Fire, and it mostly works OK.
We're working on getting it into the official Amazon app store.

Update: looks like that's only the default and that you can still use
HTTP as a fallback.
