Did you test _before_ entering all those details, too? What I'm interested in
is whether it's a bad default setting, or something in the settings page which
is breaking

I tried unticking "Use SlimServer's font size setting" (should be changed to

Guys, I've done my homework :-). The issue with MIS displaying any values you
didn't want was due to an incomplete initialization of the default values:

Visualizer screen -> Extended Text Display
Screensaver when playing -> Music Information Screen
Screensaver when stopped -> Music Information Screen
and in Music Information Screen
