What happened to the very useful utility "PowerSave" from "Jason
Holtzapple"?
It can not be reached anymore in the Community > Wiki >
PluginServerUtilities. Since several weeks, the provided Link
http://ultratrendy.com:31888/slim/ had become silent.
Where could the latest version being downloaded
It is still available via the Extension Downloader in current versions
of Squeezecenter, or manually from:

That's a bit strange then, as both links I gave in my post are working
for me as well as in the Extension Downloader. I'm still not clear if
you are using the ED or installing manually - if manually, what browser
are you using? Maybe try a different one?

I am using the manual download link with "Microsoft IE Version 7.0.5730
13CO" and "Mozilla Firefox 3.0.10" under Windows XP SP3.
Result: Still no access to both URLs.
Maybe the port 31888 is blocked by our office firewall. I'll test
again, as soon as I'm back home.

blocked
by a firewall.

Many thanks for your support and feedback. I suppose, downloading from
the "PowerSave"-server was caused by blocked ports? At home it worked
fine.
