Ok -- I have installed squeezeslave and plugged some speakers into the server in the basement (had to unplug the freeze to do this). I can now play music from my library fine, but when I try to play from spotify, I get the following error in the log: [12-05-12 17:32:08.1175] Plugins::Spotify::P

That now makes complete sense. I have no problem sending FLAC straight from the PC to the DUET, but streaming FLAC would be well beyond the capability of the local broadband connection and my own network. I can see now why I'd have the buffering issues, etc. Is there an alternative, do you have a

What does the self test say on the settings page when you let it run? Looks to me that you are not getting fast enough streaming from spotify, but this may be the spotify server you are connected to. The self test should help this as it does a test with no player connected and then one to your p
