There are two Spotify plugins.
The one provided by Logitech which is found under App Gallery/Spotify
and have a green icon.
The one provided by the community member
and the main purpose of the third party spotify plugin is to add
Spotify support to older squeezebox models that can't run the official
app ( SB2/3/classic ,transporter, BOOM, duet ) .
But it needs a local server .
An added bonus is that it is actually better than the official app :)

You can create a playlist in SBS/LMS that consists of Spotify tracks but
I don't think you can store it on Spotify so it becomes accessible on
other Spotify clients.

And I recall (use MOG now instead), that I had the option in triode's
spotify
Is it possible to create a playlist on Spotify using the Squeezebox? I
haven't found this option anywhere. I can add tracks to favorites which
are stored outside the Spotify app(it seems), but adding to playlists or
creating playlists seem not possible.
