Maybe if the Music Folder is empty, the next default could be to use the
iTunes Import folder instead.

What is the "Music folder" setting in "Server Settings" set to ?
Is it empty because you scan your SlimServer music using iTunes or
MusicIP plugins ?
If it is empty, that is probably the problem. If that is the cause I
think I will have to add a "Music folder" setting to TrackStat so it
also work

What is it that you're trying to accomplish? I'm not using that feature
of TrackStat, but I am successfully updating iTunes with ratings, last
played, and play count info from TrackStat using Perl and
TrackStat_iTunes_Complete.txt. I wonder if you're trying to do
something that isn't neces
Tried changing parameters to
Path to iTunes Music (export) = D:\
Path to iTunes Music (import) = /media
and TrackStat_iTunes_Hist.txt ended up with this:
In the
Bath|||D://D:/mD:/eD:/dD:/iD:/aD://D:/mD:/uD:/sD:/iD:/cD://D:/FD:/LD:/AD:/CD://D:/LD:/eD:/mD:/oD:/nD:/
D:/JD:/eD:/lD:/lD:/yD://D:/LD:
Tried working through the instructions again. When I set
Path to iTunes Music (export) = D:\Music
Path to iTunes Music (import) = /media/music
and press "Export to iTunes", the entries in
TrackStat_iTunes_Complete.txt look like this:
Come Together|||D:/Music|played|20070527211827|100|9
Somethin
Yes. I'll try again though: perhaps I missed a step.

Have you looked at this ?

Erland,
What's the syntax for the "Path to iTunes Music" setting? When I put a
file prefix, it replaced the whole file name. I want, for example,
/media/music/XYZ/Track blah.mp3 to change to D:/Music/XYZ/Track
blah.mp3.

Erland,
Thank you for the pointer to ActivePerl and the help so far. I've
installed PERL and confirmed all the settings to be correct, but it is
still not updating itunes. Do I run the PERL command from the windows
Run command?
I tried to open PERL and it opened a browser but nothing appeared.
I have a description on my wiki that describes how to setup the
TrackStat iTunes integration:
http://wiki.erland.homeip.net/index.php/Setup:_Rating_support_in_SlimServer
You are interested in the section "Configuring iTunes as the rating
storage". It should show exactly how you setup this.
To ru
Erland or others:
I'm trying to export my stats out trackstat to Itunes, but for some
reason they don't show up in Itunes.
In Trackstat config I have:
- Dynamic Integration: On
- Path: I have set to music/itunes/ (this is where I have the iTunes
Music Library.xml file)
- History File Directory: s
