as I mentioned in my mail before: the following is also working
map2unicode = 1
when the map file is NOT in UTF-8 (but e.g. something like LATIN1)
map2unicode = 0
when the map file is in UTF-8 encoding
In both combinations you can use native non-ascii characters in the map
file.

I guess one needs the following settings (config_default.ini):
map2unicode = 1
when the map file is NOT in UTF-8
map2unicode = 0
when the map file is in UTF-8 encoding
It works for sure if you use the language files (should always be in
UTF-8 encoding) for the translation of the descriptions in
