I'm using triad skin with fixed size = 1024 and a 1024x768 background image. IE 6.0 displays the image correctly, while Opera 9.1 offsets the image to the left by roughly 92px. So when background-repeat=repeat the left side of the picture appears on the right side, and when background:no-repeat

You need the wiki.d in order to store pages in pmwiki but that shouldn¹t be a problem for your host. My host has no problems with it and in fact have wiki installers, not Pmwiki ;-( so it seems strange that they would restrict that. If pernmissions are managed well then there should be no problems
