People generally consider the idea of splitting the mailing list as
premature, so I'm treating it as rejected for the moment.
Two ideas emerged from the discussion:
1. Starting a second list for general discussion would be minimally
disruptive to the existing list.
2. Splitting the list into two
This topic's pretty much resolved. All that's left is to wind it up
for closure, so:
The proposed idea to deprecate $_[KERNEL] and replace it with
POE::Kernel class methods was rejected soundly by everyone.
