To raise money for Twangfest (in the spirit of
all those PBS fundraisers), we're
pulling together an internet auction.
We plan to hold the auction during the first
week of May. It will be run off
by a distinctly ambient Cowboy Junkies.
Sounds like it should be a great album. I'm bummed they didnt play the Welch
and Rawlings' Hickory Wind. Is there a release date yet for this?
It gets bumped each month. Current story sez July 13th. And it's not
even on Watermelon!!

A couple of years ago Kelly Willis and Bruce Robison were on World Cafe
promoting Bruce's Wrapped CD which was new at the time. They performed
a duet of the title song that was great.
Do any of the radio types on the list have access to this recording?
Please reply off list.
Thanks
Bill

Me? I lucked out at Big Lots one time where they were selling jewel cases 4
for $1!! (I loaded up!). Also, I've seen lots (of 50-100) of jewel cases
being hocked on ebay (of course)...and my local Disc Go Round franchise
carries all sorts of pretty colors...but I'd
k and roll allusions to it (and they're always afoot),
it gives them something they actually relate to.
Very well put Barry. I think the Flatirons doing Crazy Train certainly
qualifies for the incongruous surprise category.

Mr. Bad Example, as good as anything he ever did. Way underrated. Can
usually be found in the used sections of your favorite indie store for
almost nothing. Take a chance.

ntial share of all the product? I've never heard THAT
before.
I believe that there are no royalties paid on the 'come on' offers, the
buy ten for the price of one. Royalties paid for the rest. Now I don't
know if it is at the same rate.
