Slight repost from earlier, with answered questions removed. I still had these
open, if anyone can shed any light that would be great.
I have setup postfix recently on my AWS instance and things work pretty well. I
can read (dovecot) and sent (postfix) and all works well. I experienced
Thank you all, I figured it out, but wouldn't have without your ideas. It
wasn't a postfix problem. It was the system network cards. When I got that
worked out, it seems like mail works just fine, as long as I remember to
use ssl/tls. So now I need to ask one of my users to try from their end.
Sure this is a problem with postfix?
Maybe there is no dovecot or so installed.
For me it looks like thunderbird uses the maildir, because it is installed on
the server.
