Booting 5300cs w/dead PRAM battery

I know that some Macs will boot with a dead or almost dead PRAM battery and the clock and calendar have to be reset. I also know that some Macs will not boot at all if the PRAM battery is dead or almost dead. My question is: Will a PB5300cs boot if the PRAM battery is dead or almost dead?
