Has anybody had trouble with the Apple Express Modem DAA? The modem
in my PB 180c works fine, but I do not get a connection, the modem
tells me that it does not get a carrier signal. The modem cable is
fine, too, so I suspect it has something to do with the DAA.

It might have something to do with your settings of MacTCP or TCP/IP or
with your settings of either Remote Acess or PPP. If not those try the
Express Modem control panel. If you don't have an Express Modem control
panel, that could be the problem. I am not familiar with a DAA. I

today...but it needs the power brick.
